The Electronic Ledger Report under GST offers a summarized view of a taxpayer’s financial position by detailing balances in various Electronic Ledgers.
The GSTZen’s Electronic Ledger report provide the following ledgers
- Electronic Liability ledger
- Electronic Cash Ledger
- Electronic Credit Ledger
- Electronic Credit Reversal & Reclaim Ledger
- Negative Liability Ledger
This report is essential for tracking usage, available funds, ensuring compliance, and managing GST liabilities effectively
Option 1 : Fetching the Ledgers from GSTIN dashboard
Step 1: Click on the GSTIN for which you want to download the Electronic Ledger Report.
Step 2: Click on Download a report, then select Electronic Ledger Report.
Step 3: Log in to the GST Portal through OTP.
Step 4: Click on the check boxes for the data you want to download and click on Update Ledger Details.
Step 5: After successful download of the data from the Government Portal, as indicated by the status – Electronic Ledger entries updated, you can download the Ledger Entries in XLS format.
Option 2 : Fetching the Ledgers from Autopilot
To download the Electronic Ledger report for Multiple GSTIN’s at a time , follow below steps
Step 1
Login and click on Autopilot on your dashboard
Step 2
Choose an Action – Download a report from GSTZen – Electronic Ledger Report.
Step 3
- Apply the filter for Group GSTINS by PAN and select the respective PANs or select the required GSTIN’s using the Checkbox beside every GSTIN and click on Start Button to Fetch the details.
- You need to login to the Govt Portal using OTP.
Step 4
Once downloaded you can see the Completed tab next respective GSTINs with the updated Summary Dashboard, You can also download the Ledger entries in XLS format.
Downloading the PAN Level Electronic Ledger Report
GSTZen also allows you to download the PAN level consolidated Electronic Ledgers (Cash and ITC) Summary in an an XLS format , below are the steps .
Before proceeding with below steps, You have to fetch the data using Option 1 or Option 2 as explained above
Step 1
Click on PAN level view and open the respective PAN
Step 2
Click on Reports and scroll down to access Electronic Ledgers (Cash and ITC) Summary
You can now download the consolidated Electronic Ledgers (Cash and ITC) Summary in an excel sheet.

You will be getting following sheets containing transactions from date of registration till the date of Download.

- Cash balance Check
- ITC Ledger
- Cash Ledger
