- There are three predefined roles in GST Zen:
5. Assigning Roles:-
- As an administrator, you can assign roles to users for specific PAN numbers. For example, you can assign a user the role of “Reader” which allows them to view information but not modify any data.
6. Granting Permissions:
-
- When a new user initially accesses the portal, they will encounter an error page indicating they have no permissions. The page will also display contact details for the administrator.

7. Adding Roles to Users:
-
- To grant permissions to a user, click on the “Add Role to User” button. Select the user’s name and then choose the appropriate role (Filer, Writer, or Reader) that you want to assign to them.
8. User Access Confirmation:
-
- After assigning roles, the user will now have access based on the permissions granted. They will be able to access the pages and perform actions according to their assigned role.
This structured approach ensures that access to sensitive information and functionalities within GSTZen is controlled and managed effectively, with administrators having the capability to tailor permissions based on user roles and responsibilities.
